| 78.01 REGULATION OF MUNICIPALLY OWNED PARKING FACILITIES

| The City of Auburn, Indiana shall regulate all parking facilities owned by the Municipal City of Auburn, Indiana. The Municipal City of Auburn, Indiana shall regulate the city owned parking facilities by numbering and identifying reserved parking spaces. A sign shall be clearly posted at the entrance of each parking facility owned by the City of Auburn, Indiana identifying the facility as reserved parking and warning that unauthorized vehicles will be towed at the expense of the owner.

| 78.02 TOWING UNAUTHORIZED VEHICLES FROM PARKING FACILITIES

| The City of Auburn Police Department or an agent thereof shall be charged with the duty of towing any unauthorized vehicles located in the City of Auburn, Indiana parking facilities. The towing of said vehicles shall be at the expense of the owner of said vehicle. The City of Auburn Police Department upon towing any vehicle shall attempt to contact the owner of said vehicle by telephone and by written letter informing the owner of the vehicle’s location.
