56.01 CONTROL OF CITY OWNED UTILITIES
Pursuant to Indiana Code 8-1.5-3-3(a), as from time to time amended, the control of all of the City’s municipally owned utilities shall be with the Municipal Works Board, known as the Auburn Board of Works and Public Safety.
56.02 SUBMISSION OF BUDGETS
The budgets of the municipally owned utilities shall be submitted to the legislative body for approval in accordance with Indiana Code 8-1.5-3-4, as from time to time amended. The budgets of the municipally owned utilities shall be submitted for Common Council consideration no later than the second council meeting in November each year. The submission of the municipal utility budgets does not have to be simultaneous with the city civil budget.
