Mr. Myers,

We do have an updated map as was recommended from the last City of Auburn Plan Commission meeting. This is available for viewing at our office. If you would like to review this map please contact me and we can schedule a time for you to come in.

As Michelle stated, this is the Auburn Plan Commission’s recommendation and will need to go to City Council once accepted by the Plan Commission.

Subject: RE: New Zoning of DeKalb County <DS: Collection-2080>

Dear Mr. Myers,

Due to the fact that the petition was continued to the May meeting there is no revised map available at this time.

The Plan Commission should vote on a recommendations of the proposed revisions at the May 12th meeting. This vote will be for a recommendation to the City Council meeting, not a concrete change of the zoning map. Only the Council can put that in place.

After that the Plan Commission zoning recommendations for the map are voted on, a formal recommendation will be sent to the City Council to be voted on. The council will have to take 2 votes on the zoning map recommendations before it becomes ordinance.

If you would like a copy of the DRAFT map once it has been sent to the council to approve, you may come up to our office and make that request.

After the council approves the zoning map changes and it becomes ordinance then the official map will be available to the public.

It may not however be out on the website right away, as we are in the process of building a new website and everything is in flux.

Again, if at this point you would like a copy of the official map, you may make that request of our office.

Please contact our office with any further questions or concerns you may have.

Respectfully,

Michelle A. Lassiter, Adm Asst

I was at the last Planning Commission meeting where the proposed zoning was discussed.  The zoning map was to be changed to reflect the change in the area 427 south, CR 50 to CR 23 and over to the ditch south of CR 52.  I cannot find a new zoning map that shows this change.  I also spoke at the March 10 meeting.  Can you send me or show me where to find this revised map?

Thanks,

David Myers
